With the change in power in the U.S. Senate following last month?s mid-term elections, some old and possibly new faces will be running things in committees of key concern to the water community. Although changes in the House are less dramatic, the election will bring new faces to positions of particular importance to water.

Construction Employment Showing Gains

Construction firms added jobs in 39 states between September 2013 and September 2014 while construction employment increased in 34 states and the District of Columbia between August and September, according to an analysis of Labor Department data by the Associated General Contractors of America.
