Zinc-Coated Ductile Iron Installed in First North Carolina City

The City of Morganton recently became the first city in North Carolina to install zinc-coated ductile iron pipe. Zinc pipe, manufactured by applying a coating of zinc to the pipe’s outer surface, will be used to upgrade the utility’s system.
