August 10 | August 12 | August 17 | August 19
The 2021 Water Finance Conference, which is being presented in a virtual format this month, will conclude its virtual sessions Thursday, Aug. 19 with Session 4. This year’s conference is covering a range of topics in the water/wastewater utility finance space including rate setting, customer affordability, short- and long-term financial planning, federal and state finance action, and the intersect of new technology and capital planning.
This year marks the seventh annual Water Finance Conference, which since 2015 has exclusively covered financing in the U.S. water utility sector. This year’s event was originally scheduled for this month in Washington, D.C. But due to limited travel and budgets, organizers decided to keep the conference virtual one more year with the hope of getting back to the in-person format in 2022.
The 2021 event will present 2-hour virtual sessions on Aug. 10, 12, 17 and 19. The 2021 conference is sponsored by Main Event Sponsors Stantec and Waterworth, Session Sponsors Mueller and Fracta, as well as Coffee Sponsor Raftelis and SmartCover.
Each two-hour session will feature a live, on-camera broadcast of the presentations and panel discussions. Each session will include two PowerPoint presentations followed 1-hour panel discussion. Each presentation and panel will feature leading experts from across the water utility sector including representatives from public utilities, utility finance managers and CFOs, financial consultants and service providers who have a vested interest in the financing of water and sewer systems in the United States.
