Report examines water utility residential customer satisfaction

A new report from J.D. Power takes a look at water utility residential customer satisfaction, examining the results of a recent study. Citing a finding from Bluefield Research, the combined water and sewer bill for a typical household in the United States has increased by an average of 4.1% each year.

According to J.D. Power, this has not been a favorable environment for nurturing customer confidence in local water utilities. The study notes 41% of customers say they do not feel the water provided by their local utility is safe to drink.
