Charlotte-based water and wastewater consultancy Raftelis, announced it has acquired Public Resources Management Group, Inc. (PRMG), a similar firm, with a particularly strong presence in Florida and throughout the Southeast.
PRMG adds to Raftelis’ portfolio additional expertise in the electric, natural gas, and solid waste markets. They also have expertise in providing services for general government functions such as recreation, police, fire, building, planning and zoning and other governmental activities.
“Over the past 25 years, our two firms have followed similar paths, and we have always had great respect for PRMG’s work and the reputation they have built in the Florida market,” said Peiffer Brandt, president and CEO of Raftelis. “I am excited to combine the staff expertise of both firms to provide added value and additional capabilities for our clients.”
The acquisition adds 12 consultants to the Raftelis team, to be located in Maitland, Florida, and brings Raftelis’ staff count to more than 100 consultants nationwide.
