Water Week will return to Washington, D.C., April 12-18, as hundreds of drinking and clean water utility leaders from across the country are expected to convene for a week of policy priorities, regulatory updates and Congressional office visits.
The week will provide several opportunities for utility representatives, public officials and water sector leaders to connect directly with federal policymakers and agency partners. Attendees will gain insight into ongoing federal implementation of major water infrastructure investments, the EPA’s evolving regulatory agenda, and the policy challenges and opportunities shaping the sector.
The anchor event of Water Week is the National Water Policy Fly-In, being held April 14-15 presented by the National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA), which spearheads the event, in partnership with the American Water Works Association (AWWA), the Association of Metropolitan Water Agencies (AMWA), the Water Research Foundation (WRF), the Water Environment Federation (WEF), and the WateReuse Association.
April 14 will conclude with an opportunity to connect with friends and colleagues at the Water Week 2026 Reception, being held at DC Water’s headquarters. This must-attend networking event will offer breathtaking views and the opportunity to connect with peers from across the country.
April 15 is reserved for Fly-In attendees to meet with legislators on Capitol Hill.
Also being held in conjunction with Water Week this year will be the AMWA’s annual Water Policy Conference, April 12-15. This event delivers attendees an unparalleled opportunity to engage with federal policymakers and drinking water sector executives.
The Water & Wastewater Equipment Manufacturers Association (WWEMA) will also host it’s 52nd Washington Forum & Emerging Leaders Meeting April 15-17. This forum will provide a forum for WWEMA members to engage directly with key figures in the water industry and government, including Congress and federal agencies.
