Las Vegas Valley Water District Selects Itron for AMR

Itron, Inc. has announced that Las Vegas Valley Water District (LVVWD), a not-for-profit agency that provides water to more than 1 million residents and 35 million annual visitors in Southern Nevada, has selected Itron?s automated metering solution to improve operational efficiency and streamline meter reading.

The contract includes nearly 400,000 Itron water communication modules for residential and commercial customers as well as Itron?s mobile collection system, field collection system software and overall project management. The technology will be installed over the next five years.
