The Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) will host its annual Design-Build for Water/Wastewater Conference, March 17-19, 2014 in San Jose, Calif.
Nearly 800 key players and decision-makers from the architectural, engineering, construction and acquisition communities are expected at the San Jose Convention Center to take part in the conference educational programs and networking events ? all of which are geared towards teaching them how to save time, save money and increase the quality of the nation?s construction projects.
Tony Parrott, executive director of the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (MSD) will open the conference proceedings with a keynote address on the afternoon of Monday March 17.?
The conference will offer the opportunity to meet and network with hundreds of professionals seeking solutions and project team experts with regard to design-build project delivery in areas such as: teaming; wastewater; drinking water; residuals and biosolids; stormwater; technology and collaboration; water reuse and sustainability; design-build-operate; utility management/plant operations; process water; pollution issues; groundwater; solid waste; watershed issues; and finance and risk allocation.
DBIA has set record attendance at its last few Water/Wastewater conferences, including last year in Orlando, Fla., in March 2013. As in past years, DBIA?s Water/Wastewater Conference will be held in conjunction with its 2014 Design-Build in Transportation Conference being held March 19-21.
