Megan Glover, founder and former CEO of water quality and technology company, 120Water, announced she has exited the company.
The announcement comes after Glover stepped down from her role as CEO in June 2025 as it welcomed new CEO Casey Myers. The company also announced a series of new additions to its leadership team in October.
120Water — first launched as 120WaterAudit — began as a provider of water quality testing kits and other solutions for utilities looking to better manage lead in drinking water programs. Its service offerings came on the heels of the Flint water crisis, which shined a national spotlight on the risk of lead service lines and the importance of water quality monitoring.
Today, 120Water has evolved to a cloud-based water data management platform used by municipalities, state agencies and water professionals to manage critical water quality and asset compliance programs. It provides end-to-end software, test coordination and data handling to streamline reporting and compliance workflows between regulators, utilities, and the communities they serve.
A data and software veteran, Glover spent nearly 15 years as an executive building and scaling various software-as-a-service products prior to founding 120Water.
“With the CEO transition in place and our team and customers in great hands, it’s the right time for me to step into my next chapter. It’s hard to fully capture what the past decade has meant to me — both professionally and personally,” she wrote on LinkedIn.
“Building 120WaterAudit from an idea into a multi-million dollar platform serving thousands of water systems and facilities, in an industry that always doesn’t incentivize digital innovation (or outsiders) has been one of the most humbling and rewarding experiences of my life.
“I’m grateful to the water industry for welcoming me and giving me the opportunity to contribute to such important work, and to the many partners, customers, and teammates who were part of this journey.”
Glover said she intends to step away from the industry to spend time with family before embarking on her next chapter.
