With the retirement of AMWA CEO Diane VanDe Hei, who officially stepped down from her role on March 15, the AMWA board of directors has asked Michael Arceneaux to take the position of Acting CEO.
Arceneaux has been with AMWA since 1995 and has served in various capacities, most recently as chief operating officer. In addition, he serves as the managing director of WaterISAC.
Arceneaux intends to reach out to members and subscribers to gather ideas and suggestions for ways to move the organization forward. He also invites members and subscribers to contact him at [email protected] or 202-331-2820.
Arceneaux and the rest of the AMWA team remain committed to continuing to serve the membership by advancing the association’s policy goals and developing timely resources that help utility executives best serve their communities.
