Severn Trent-North America changes name to Inframark

Severn Trent-North America announced that it officially changed its name to Inframark following a separation from former UK parent Severn Trent Plc. earlier this year.

The new name reflects the company’s commitment to creating deeper client partnerships as a leader in the water and infrastructure services space. As part of the name change, Inframark is launching a new brand identity, corporate website and supporting materials that more effectively communicate the depth of its offering, its refined service model, and the strength of its culture as a standalone American company.

“The name Inframark is a direct reflection of our focus on the core operation of water infrastructure, as well as the complementary critical support services to community infrastructure,” said Stephane Bouvier, CEO of Inframark. “Importantly, our new name emphasizes our commitment to setting the ‘mark’ as the standard of excellence in partnerships with clients in the municipal, industrial and local district segments. We are excited to move into the future in a stronger position as the partner and protector of the most critical resource that helps communities prosper.”

Under the Inframark name, the company will organize into two broad business lines:

The Water Infrastructure Operations group delivers critical water and wastewater operations and maintenance services to clients in municipalities, municipal utility districts (MUDs) and the industrial sector.

The Infrastructure Management Services group delivers financial, administrative, and specialized support services to communities, associations, municipalities, and special districts. Establishing these distinct business lines will streamline client services and allow Inframark to tailor its offerings to meet the specific needs of individual clients.

At the heart of the company’s culture sits a strong service philosophy called the Principles of Pure Partnership.  Defined by the elements of Alignment, Accessibility and Accountability, Pure Partnership stands for Inframark’s promise. These three powerful principles also represent the company’s values and guide every client interaction.

The new name is effective immediately, and will be implemented across all company materials and assets.

With more than 40 years of experience in managing water-related infrastructure, the company employs in excess of 1,500 people serving more than 290 clients in 19 states. Its North American operations manages facilities that can treat over a billion gallons of drinking water and wastewater daily.  It also manages more than 8,000 miles of wastewater collection and water distribution networks. Its infrastructure management services group serves 220 clients with financial, administrative and specialized support services.
