RJN Group, Inc. (RJN) is presently in the middle of a year-long sanitary sewer evaluation study (SSES) in the City of Irving?s Southwest Basin. The SSES began in January of this year and is scheduled for completion by the end of December.
The SSES is being performed in two phases. Phase 1 involves flow monitoring, GPS survey, modeling/capacity analysis and manhole inspection. Phase 2 involves field investigations of priority basins that will be identified as a result of activities performed in Phase 1. RJN engineers are ensuring that the phases are timed in accordance with the City?s needs and are tailored to match the requirements and expectations of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) Sanitary Sewer Overflow Initiative (SSOI). At the conclusion of the two phases RJN will present the City with a report to complement their SSOI efforts.
