Neptune Technology Group Inc., has announced that it has joined the Cityworks Partner Network as a Strategic Development Partner. The inclusion of Neptune into the Cityworks partner program provides a powerful level of support for Neptune?s AMI system events such as reverse flow, inactive usage, and leak alerts. These?AMI events can now trigger automated work flows and field action via the Cityworks platform, providing for intelligent and cost-effective inspection, monitoring, and condition assessment for all Neptune?s meter- and sensor-related infrastructure.
?Neptune is pleased to partner with Cityworks, an industry leading GIS-centric asset management solution, to offer enhanced value to our mutual customers,? said John Parks, Neptune?s Director of New Business Development. ?By enabling easy integration of Neptune?s N_SIGHT software suite and automating the flow of critical AMI event information into Cityworks, we help our utility customers maximize the value they gain from their AMI solution beyond billing.?
In addition, iWater, Inc., Clevest and Continental Utility Solutions, Inc. (CUSI) have joined Neptune?s Connected Utility Partnership Program.?Neptune?s Connected Utility Partnership Program was created to meet the growing needs of water utilities by extending Neptune?s capabilities?beyond meter reading. The partnership program, with its ecosystem of innovative technology providers, will create value for water utilities through an Advanced Sensor Infrastructure (ASI) with shared, analyzed data across an array of utility applications. The goals of the program are to communicate field data across departments and to leverage the institutional knowledge within the utility personnel to create a Smart Water Utility.
According to Parks, ?We know customers have been looking for a solution to leverage their water consumption data in connection with their field users. iWater?s infraMAP is an easy-to-use product that connects the field and the back office and should enable our customers to address water consumption issues in a much more timely fashion.?
Don Rhodes at iWater said, ?With joining the Neptune Connected Utility Partner Program after several years of working with common Neptune/iWater customers, both of our companies have the opportunity to provide a unique customer solution. As technology is moving faster every day, none of us can do everything. However, working in a partnership with Neptune Technology Group provides an alliance that will help us deliver additional products that both of our customers are asking for.?We look forward to introducing several new technology solutions.?
Parks added, ?We are really excited that the Connected Utility Partnership Program has gained interest in the market. We are looking forward to working with Clevest to leverage their Mobile Workforce Management solution in conjunction with Neptune?s R900 and R450 Systems to provide more value to our mutual customers.?
Don Gibson, Senior Partner Manager at Clevest, indicated, ?This partnership is important to Clevest because it provides enhanced access to some of Neptune?s technologies, which will facilitate the evolution of our product offering for the water utility industry going forward.?
Parks also said, ?We are proud to be associated with CUSI. They were an original supporter of our E-Coder technology. CUSI?s systems enable the E-Coder leak and backflow detection to appear on customer bills alerting them of water consumption anomalies. It was a big step forward in improving customer service for utilities with CUSI and Neptune systems.?
