JD7 names Quail vice president

JD7 Logo small White JPGJD7, an Aquam company, has announced that Emma Quail has joined the team as vice president. Quail will be managing the service, sales and distribution of JD7’s pipeline assessment technology across North America.

Prior to joining JD7 in March of this year, Quail spent the last 15 years in the field of non-revenue water (NRW) and pipeline management. As a native of Ireland, she started her career working on a variety of project management based contracts awarded by NIW (Northern Ireland Water) as part of a large capital investment on water mains rehabilitation. During this time, she gained extensive technical and practical expertise in leakage management including pressure management, leak detection and water loss control strategy and practice.

Quail relocated to the United States in 2010 and since then has developed her international knowledge of water distribution systems through promoting new approaches and technologies to assess and reduce NRW. She has previously accepted positions with reputable industry peers such as Pure Technologies and Matchpoint Inc. as Business Development Manager and Leak Detection Practice Leader, and as a result has a deep technical understanding of industry practices, solutions and products. She has also previously represented prominent product suppliers such as Sewerin, Primayer, Radio detection and Hydreka.
