Hewitt Joins HDR as Business Group Manager for Water, Natural Resources

J. Tyler Hewitt has joined HDR as the Water and Natural Resources business group?s manager for the state of Georgia. He will be headquartered in HDR?s Atlanta, Ga., office.

A professional engineer, Hewitt has more than 15 years of Georgia municipal experience in water supply, drinking water and wastewater.?He joins HDR from Infratec Consultants, where he spent the past 11 years as a vice president responsible for strategic pursuits, client relations and project management. As a managing principal, Hewitt played an integral role in growing the business from inception to over $3 million in annual revenue and the opening of two satellite offices.

He has also served as a client service manager and project manager for a number of Georgia entities, including the Etowah Water & Sewer Authority, Cherokee County Water & Sewerage Authority, Paulding County Board of Commissioners, the City of Covington, the South Fulton Municipal Regional Water & Sewer Authority and the Walton County Water & Sewerage Authority.

Hewitt is a member of the Water Environment Federation, the American Water Works Association and the?Georgia Association of Water Professionals where he serves on the Legislative Committee and the Georgia Rural Water Association. He was also a member of the technical advisory board for the Etowah Habitat Conservation Plan and served on the Dawson County Grassroots Economic Development Group and Leadership Dawson program.
