Badger Meter, Inc. recently announced it will enter into a strategic partnership with Telog Instruments, Inc., a developer and manufacturer of remote data acquisition systems that provides turnkey monitoring solutions to water and energy utilities. The mutually exclusive relationship will enable Badger Meter to sell water distribution system monitoring products from Telog Instruments as value-added tools to complement the Badger Meter Advanced Metering Analytics (AMA) solution in the North American water utility market.
?We are excited about the opportunity to augment our AMA solution for water utilities with Telog?s industry-leading sensors and remote data collection capabilities,? said Kim Stoll, vice president of sales and marketing for Badger Meter. ?This will enhance our customers? monitoring capabilities by enabling more data collection points throughout the water distribution system, giving them better insight and the ability to detect issues earlier.?
Stoll added that Badger Meter is continually looking for ways to evolve its products and services to help utilities operate more efficiently. Introduced in 2011, AMA is the next generation of water and gas metering technology, designed to help utilities proactively manage their operations through information integration.
