American Water names new chief environmental officer

American Water has announced Kevin Kirwan has been named senior vice president and chief environmental and operational excellence officer, effective Feb. 12.

Environmental Leadership is one of our values, and we must be leaders in every area of Environmental and Regulatory Compliance,” said Walter Lynch, chief operating officer of American Water. “Kevin has more than 35 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry and with his demonstrated success and leadership; he is an ideal fit for this role.”
