American Water Celebrates 20-Year Safety Milestone

American Water recently announced that the company’s Contract Services Group is celebrating 20 years without a recordable, lost-time accident at its Litchfield, Ill. facility. In recognition of this milestone, employees were recognized at the Litchfield City Council meeting held in July.

“Safety is paramount to our company and we are honored to be celebrating 20 years without a recordable, lost-time incident at Litchfield,” said Dave Kitzmiller, regional vice president of operations for American Water. “Our Litchfield team continues to demonstrate its commitment to achieving a safe workplace and providing operational excellence to the City of Litchfield.”
