ADS Environmental Services recently introduced Qstart, a new software utility that can be instantly downloaded from the ADS website for use with ADS flow monitors. This user friendly software allows field crews to set up and activate the ADS FlowShark Triton, FlowAlert, and RainAlert II monitors in minutes, saving time and money in the field. ?
?ADS is very pleased to provide this newest software for customer download to simplify the installation and data collection processes?, states Garry Wood, Vice President of Sales for ADS Environmental Services. ?It was designed as an answer to input from customers on how ADS can improve the delivery of flow monitoring data. Continuous improvement in delivery of products, services, and data is one of our highest priorities at ADS.? ?
Qstart also enables the user to collect and review the meter?s depth and velocity data in hydrograph and tabular views simultaneously. Qstart does not calculate a flow rate, but users can configure the meter to generate and store a calculated flow rate if they desire. All data collected in Qstart can be viewed in the field and exported in CSV format for import into the desktop software of the user’s choice. Qstart is a field tool and has no data editing or flow calculating functions.
The FlowShark Triton is ADS? newest flow monitor. It is a state-of-the-art flow monitor with multiple technology sensors for unparalleled versatility and redundant monitoring in all applications. This revolutionary new fit-for-purpose monitoring device with multiple depth measurement technologies and multiple velocity measurement technologies is also an Intrinsically Safe monitor.
