NACWA: New bill will provide greater certainty for long-term investment

The New Face of Water Financing

The National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) is applauding Congress for its strong bipartisan action in passing the Water Infrastructure Improvement Act. The bill, passed in December, will codify the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) Integrated Planning (IP) approach into law, and provide local communities with critical new flexibilities in meeting their Clean Water Act (CWA) obligations.
