The National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) recognized the top-performing clean water utilities in the United States and honored outstanding leaders during a ceremony at the 2026 Utility Leadership Conference on July 15 in Cleveland, Ohio.
President’s Award
This President’s award is given to individuals who are actively involved in NACWA activities and have made a major contribution to achieving the association’s goals and objectives.

Clean Water Advocate
This award highlights the outstanding advocacy work by NACWA Member Agencies to further municipal clean water priorities.

Peak Performance Awards
This year, NACWA recognized 540 treatment facilities at 206 of its member Public Agencies for outstanding compliance and performance in accordance with their National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits.
