The application period is open for the Utility of the Future Today recognition program, which seeks to honor water resource recovery facilities for community engagement, watershed stewardship, and recovery of resources such as water, energy, and nutrients.
This year the application has been revised to encourage utilities serving as anchor institutions in their communities, with a focus on people both within the utility and within the community, and the inclusion of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of the utilities operations.
