Water Week 2014 Brings Clean Water Advocacy, Education and Innovation to Capitol Hill

A broad array of water sector groups from across the country will join forces this spring in Washington, D.C. for the inaugural Water Week 2014. Scheduled for April 7-11, 2014, the event provides an opportunity for sector professionals to advocate for clean water issues, showcase innovative approaches to sustainable water management, and educate national leadership about the importance of clean water to public health, the environment and a strong economy.

Organized by the National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA), the Water Environment Federation (WEF), and the Water Environment Research Foundation (WERF), with support from national, state and regional water organizations, the event will bring hundreds of water and wastewater professionals to the nation’s capital to discuss key legislative, regulatory and legal water developments with members of Congress and federal regulators; showcase innovations and new technologies; and celebrate the progress of water professionals in addressing our nation?s water challenges.
