Wonderful explanation of the EIB structure and motivations. It is actually great that the investor’s willingness to create a positive environmental impact is not only shown by lending the money, but also by assuming a portion of the risk when doing so. It is a matter of time, specially with the COVID crisis, that this kind of investment spreads further.
