AWWA optimistic after release of annual water sector report

The American Water Works Association (AWWA) this week released its annual State of the Water Industry report, which is now available to download for free.

In recapping the results of the report, developed from the results of a survey of more than 4,000 North American water professionals, AWWA struck a confident and hopeful tone. The organization notes that despite climate change-related challenges, aging infrastructure, threats to water supply and other obstacles, water sector optimism and preparedness is on the rise.
