Texas PUC swears in new commissioner

Kathleen Jackson has been sworn in as commissioner of the Public Utility Commission (PUC) of Texas. Jackson was appointed to the PUC by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott on Aug. 5, 2022. She previously served as a Board Member of the Texas Water Development Board since 2014.

“I’m grateful for Gov. Abbott’s continued confidence in me to serve the people of our great state and I’m honored to continue my service with the Public Utility Commission,” said Jackson. “Just as Texas needs a dependable water supply, we also need a reliable power supply to ensure a vibrant and resilient future for our children and our children’s children.”
